Attendance
The school is very conscious of the link between good attendance and high academic achievement. We therefore need your help to make sure your child is in school as much as possible but if for any reason your child is absent through illness or any other reason please follow the instructions below. The school day runs from 8.30am to 3pm. (this equates to 32.5 hours a week)
Absences
On the first day that your child is absent, please telephone or e-mail the school office (01372 456533) before 09.00 to let us know that your child will not be in school and the reason for the absence. An update e-mail should be sent to the school office each day that your child is absent. In the event of us not receiving a telephone call or e-mail we will attempt to contact you to ensure that you are aware of the absence.
